Hola Sub Divers,
The diving industry is evolving, and so are we. We have some incredibly personal news to share: Punta Sur Divers is officially becoming Sub Culture – Scuba Cozumel, Mx.
Sub Culture is more than a new name. It speaks to a way of life that exists below the surface—a community shaped, guided, and rooted in the ocean. We are moving to a new digital home at www.subculturemx.com to better reflect this identity.
While our look is changing to surface our true identity, our lineage remains. Cubano, Cris, Willie, and Pato are still the keepers of this knowledge, ensuring that every dive is an experience with purpose, not just a “diving tour.”
Ex Mare Venimus At the heart of this new era is our mantra: Ex Mare Venimus — We come from the sea. It is an acknowledgment that we aren’t just visitors to the reef; we are shaped by it and belong to it. Sub Culture is for those who carry the ocean with them long after they’ve left the water.
Our New Symbol: You will notice our new logo draws from the form of a rising bubble—a symbol of breath, presence, and movement beneath the surface. Encased within a fluid, organic shape, it reflects life underwater and the quiet rhythm of the ocean.
