The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is an introduction to scuba diving, designed for beginners to breathe underwater under the close supervision of a PADI Professional. It includes a theory briefing, a confined water session to learn basic skills, and optional ocean dives, with maximum depths of 6m (20ft) to 12m (40ft).
