Recently, our long-time friend, community anchor, and seasoned dive buddy, Dave “The Dive Guy”, surprised us with an incredible gift. Dave took a plunge down memory lane through our shared history in Cozumel and emerged with something truly exceptional: an entirely original song and video homage dedicated to Jorge “Cubano” and the launch of our  Sub Culture venture. 🔱🎶

It perfectly captures the essence of what we call our Sub C -SEA- Lineage—that 35+ year connection to these waters that isn’t just about the guides who live here, but about the incredible community of conscious divers who have evolved alongside us.

When you listen to the track, you can feel our signature “Slow Diving” philosophy coming to life through the music. It’s an auditory right of passage that honors the master watermanship of Cubano—from his roots as a competitive swimmer and lifeguard in Cuba to a guardian of Marine Prosperity here in the Mexican Caribbean.

Dave has generously granted Sub Culture the rights to share his original music, lyrics, and video with the global diving community. To say that Jorge and the entire crew were incredibly moved by this gesture is an understatement.
