The core of the Sub Culture experience is our boutique, slow sub diving service. This approach is designed for the Sub Culture Diver—someone who values quality over quantity, precision over haste, and a schedule that breathes with the natural rhythm of the ocean.

1. The DT Package: Unlock the Best Value

The DT Package is our way of rewarding divers who want a deeper immersion into the Cozumel reef system. Each DT Package is per person; by committing to a personal package, you unlock our most competitive rates compared to single-day bookings.

• DT Package Definition: A DT Package (Dive/Double Tank Package) is equal to one outing (either an AM or PM slot).

• The 3-DT Baseline: Our packages begin at a 3-tank minimum. This is the entry point to secure your boutique service. Note that 1 or 2-tank bookings are charged at standard rates.

• Volume Advantage: The more you play, the more you save. Larger packages offer a lower per-tank cost.

• Maximize Your Bottom Time: You have total control. You can spread tanks over several days or maximize your time by doing multiple dives in a single day by combining AM and PM slots (for example, stacking two DT Packages in 24 hours).

• Individual Accounts: To maintain our signature “Sub DNA” of safety and tailored guiding, each diver will have their own account. Packages are individual and non-transferable.

2. Call the Plays: Your Sub Itinerary

To ensure the boat, the crew, and the tanks are ready, we ask every diver to provide their preferred itinerary in advance. Simply sign up to your account and select your preferred dive slots.

Because our schedule is modular, you can dive many times in a single day by stacking slots.

• Example: “I want a 6-tank deal. I’ll do 3 tanks on Monday (AM + PM) and 3 tanks on Tuesday.”

Managing Your Schedule: We know plans can shift. If you need to make changes to your selected slots, the cut-off time is 4:00 PM the day before, subject to terms, conditions, and boat availability.

Example: II “I want a Scuba Playbook in Cozumel and on mainland with shark safari” This high-volume itinerary bridges the Cozumel reefs, the mystical mainland caverns, and the raw power of the open ocean.

• Day 1 | Arrival: Welcome to Cozumel. Gear check and account briefing.

• Day 2 | The Warm-Up: AM Slot (8:30 AM) 2-Tanks + PM Slot 1-Tank (3 Dives total). Kick off your 3-DT baseline in a single day.

• Day 3 | The Shift Change: AM Slot (8:30 AM) 2-Tanks + Twilight-to-Night Specialty Add-on (2 Tanks). Experience the reef’s transition from golden hour to total darkness.

• Day 4 | Dawn Patrol: Sunrise Specialty Add-on (5:30 AM) + AM Slot (8:30 AM) 2-Tanks (3 Dives total). Be back for a late breakfast after three incredible immersions.

• Day 5 | The Underworld (Cenote Expedition): We head to the mainland with you for a deep cavern immersion.

  • Option A: The surreal clouds of Cenote Angelita + a shallow cavern.

  • Option B: The light beams of The Pit + the classic beauty of Dos Ojos.

• Day 6 | Pelagic Safari (Isla Mujeres): We travel with you to the blue water to snorkel with Silky Sharks or Whale Sharks (seasonal). We handle the logistics and provide the “Sub DNA” guiding.

• Day 7 | Departure: Out-gassing and reflection before your flight.

Sub Note: For high-volume itineraries like this, Nitrox (EANx) and a Dive Computer are essential to safely manage your nitrogen and maximize your energy.

3. Specialty Dives: The Ultimate Add-Ons

Once you have your DT Package base, you can layer on our Specialty Missions. These are elite experiences with unique logistics, added as extras to your DT Package:

• Sunrise Dive (1 Tank): Experience the reef’s “morning shift” at first light.

• Night Dive (1 Tank): Witness the nocturnal transformation of the Caribbean.

• Twilight-to-Night (2 Tanks): Watch the reef transition from golden hour to total darkness.

• The Wild North (3 Tank AM): An advanced expedition to Cozumel’s most pristine, remote currents.

4. Safety, Gear & Service

• DAN Insurance: For your peace of mind and safety, we strongly recommend that all divers have active DAN (Divers Alert Network) insurance. It is the good prectice standard for diver safety

• Dive Computers: At Sub Culture, a dive computer is essential for safely managing high-volume dive days. If you do not own one, please request a rental in your account to ensure availability.

• Full Equipment Rental: Premium, well-maintained gear so you can travel light.

• Nitrox (EANx): Highly recommended for multi-dive days to extend bottom time and reduce fatigue.

• PADI Specialty Courses: Use your Playbook dives to earn certifications like Nitrox or Deep Diver.
