Accessibility Statement

At Sub Culture, we are committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming, and safe experience for all our guests, both online and in the water.

1. DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY

We strive to ensure our website (https://subculturemx.com/) is accessible to people with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make our digital reservations portal as user-friendly as possible. If you experience any difficulty viewing, navigating, or booking through our website, please reach out to us directly for personal assistance.

2. PHYSICAL & OPERATIONAL ACCESSIBILITY (OUR DIVE OPERATIONS)

Scuba diving is a physically demanding activity that takes place in dynamic, open-water environments. Furthermore, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions, Sub Culture operates as a boutique service utilizing small vessels (“The Small Boat Reality”).

Please be aware of the following operational realities:

  • Boat Limitations: Due to the size and design of our dive boats, some are not wheelchair accessible. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific accessibility requirements so we can arrange a vessel that better suits your needs.

We also strongly recommend booking a private dive master or instructor to ensure a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience.

  • wheelchair accessible, and boarding may require stepping over gaps, climbing small ladders, and maintaining balance on a moving deck.
  • Mobility Requirements: Divers and passengers must possess a baseline level of physical mobility to safely board the vessel, enter/exit the water via boat ladders, and navigate the deck while wearing heavy scuba equipment.
  • Medical Fitness to Dive: All divers are strictly subject to standard scuba diving medical questionnaires. Certain physical or medical conditions may require a specialized physician’s clearance prior to diving, purely for your own safety.
3. ADAPTIVE DIVING & SPECIAL REQUESTS

While our standard daily operations on a small boat have physical limitations, we want to share the ocean with as many people as safely possible. If you have a physical disability, limited mobility, or require special accommodations, we strongly request that you contact us prior to booking.

Depending on your specific needs, certification level (such as an adaptive diving certification), and current weather/port conditions, we will give you an honest assessment of whether our vessel and crew can safely accommodate you, or if we need to refer you to a specialized adaptive diving facility in the area.

4. CONTACT US

If you have any questions, concerns, or need to discuss your specific accessibility needs before making a reservation, we are here to help.
